Miller's Panto is Marty Ferrera, a loud-mouthed and opinionated longshoreman, complete with docker's hook round his neck. Marty makes his stand against the system when he can no longer support his wife and child, denied work even after offering his own bribe. Hutchinson was struck by the way Miller went out of his way to avoid stock characters and show just how the main protagonists are neither all good nor bad. Miller helped KXNO, which will launch its new morning and afternoon programs on Monday , hold steady at No. 12 with 2.3 percent (second best among AM stations and tops in the sports talk format). Miller took shots like he Sports Radio Des Moines Iowa always does, finished by taking them from the defensemen.

I'll download the podcast for Miller's interviewing skills, but i can't stand listening to Marty (he's the kind of person who gives sports radio hosts a bad name). I can't stand Marty because everything he does is self serving but will still listen mostly to their show over the kxno one except for the Monday hour when they have the rebound/QB thing. Marty and Miller work well together and I'm on my way to High School Winter Sports Radio Des Moines Iowa switching for about 90 percent of my drive. Boy I don't agree, but like Marty said today, sports radio is like Pizza....some like deep dish, some like thin crust. I think that is a valid criticism of Miller when he played sidekick to Marty and Perault.
